The Carat hotel is located in an just outside central Hamburg. It has excellent motorway connections and public transport within a short walk opposite the hotel. It is also very close to the river Elbe and the "Freihafen" the harbor of Hamburg. Due to its location near the river there is a lack of light during late nights.

Rooms
The rooms are medium in size and are furnished in simple modern style with dark brown headboards and side tables pale blue bedspreads and matching curtains and carpet. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition. There are coffee and tea facilities in the room.

Restaurant
The restaurant, which is located just off the lobby is decorated in modern style with a brown and blue color scheme. The small, but cozy bar is decorated in the same wood as the reception desk.
